September 22-23, 2012 - Hispanic Hispanic Heritage Festival, Palm Beach Atlantic University, West Palm Beach, FL

Duo Gastesi-Bezerra will host the fourth edition of this free multi-cultural, multi-disciplinary event. The first concert on Saturday evening features Brazilian guitar virtuoso Roberto Capocchi with pieces by Brazilian, Argentinian, Paraguayan, and Spanish composers. Duo Gastesi-Bezerra will perform in the 2012 Festival de Inverno de Garanhuns in a program celebrating the 150th anniversary of Claude Debussy,. They will also feature works by Osvaldo Lacerda (Brasiliana 4), Ronaldo Miranda (Variações Sérias), and the Brazilian premiere of Somnis, especially written for the duo by Catalan composer Gerard López-Boada. Duo Gastesi-Bezerra will present a lecture recital entitled "The Evolution of Brazilian Postmodernism Through the Piano Ensemble Works of Ricardo Tacuchian” at the 2012 Southern Chapter Regional Conference of The College Music Society. October 03 and 04, 2010 – II Hispanic Heritage Festival, Palm Beach Atlantic University, West Palm Beach, FL

Duo Gastesi-Bezerra will be the hosts of the second edition of this multi-cultural, multi-disciplinary event. The Sunday program (at 3:00 p.m.) will feature Brazilian pianist Caio Pagano, while the Monday event will feature mezzo-soprano Sonia Santiago accompanied by Estibaliz Gastesi and Márcio Bezerra.  The Festival will also have the participation of poets from the group El Alma Hispana, and the celebrated Colombian painter Jorge Herrera.  All events are free to the public with no tickets needed. They will be playing on 28 December at the Studentski Kulturni Centar in Belgrade at 8:00 p.m. and at Novi Sad’s City Hall on 29 December at 7:00 p.m. Programs will include twelve Serbian premieres!
